I guess Ejheden kayak camp is the place to be. Along way from the closest urban bustle lies
the abandoned village Ejheden, north from Furudal.

old forests.
The village was abandoned in the 60s and which is now a part of Ejheden Eco-park and had
at most 100 inhabitants and its own school. It has the most amazing sauna and an old boathouse where you can have a wonderful dinner while during sunset. Sveaskog has opened the landscape and cattle
in the summertime to restore the meadows and biodiversity as well. In this Eco -park you
will find many lakes some are lined with pined forest and provide a very nice setting and rich
wildlife. In this beautiful area with nature and cultural experiences , Next step nature will arrange a
weekend camp for you who want to learn more about kayaking and at the same time get a
nature experience in Dalarnas more solitary enviroment.
